You pay before we generate, so the risk of that has to sit with us rather than with you. Here is exactly how, in plain terms.
You haven’t downloaded anything. Email us within 14days of delivery and we’ll refund you in full. No questions, no forms.
You’ve already downloaded.Downloading is using the product, so those go case by case — email us and we’ll sort it out. Usually that means re-running your set for free.
Preview before you download
Your album shows every finished headshot at full size before you save any of them. Look at the whole set first. Nothing is downloaded until you press Download on an image, and we record when that happens — that record is what lets us offer the no-questions refund above without having to argue with you about whether the photos look like you.
How to ask
Email support@studioheadshot.ai from the address on your order, within 14days of your album being delivered. Tell us what went wrong. You don’t need to write much — “doesn’t look like me” is a complete reason.
We reply within 1–3 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
What we’ll usually offer first
If you’ve downloaded and you’re unhappy, a re-run is normally the better outcome for both of us: we regenerate your set, you keep what you already have, and it costs you nothing. Most likeness problems come from the reference photos, so we’ll often suggest swapping one or two before the re-run. If a re-run still isn’t right, we’ll talk about a refund.
The limits
- 14days from delivery. After that we no longer keep the material we’d need to review the request fairly.
- One refund per customer.
- Corporate orders are covered by their own agreement, not by this page.
- We may decline requests where the account looks like it exists to collect refunds — repeat orders under different addresses, and similar.
Before you call your bank
Please email us first. A chargeback takes weeks, your bank decides it without ever seeing your photos, and we can almost always resolve it faster ourselves. If you’ve emailed and we’ve gone quiet, that’s our failure and you should escalate — but give us the chance first.
What we can’t promise
AI likeness is not perfect and we’d rather say so here than oversell it on the way in. We generate eight frames per look and deliver the five that match your uploads best, which stacks the odds but doesn’t guarantee an outcome. We also can’t refund on the basis of a change of mind about the style you picked, since you chose the backdrop, tailoring, lighting and expression yourself before anything was generated.
